57Végane: Vegan On-the-Go
Knowing that our customers have increasingly busy schedules, we offer them vegan lunch options on-the-go and proteins that can be added to their recipes.
Our products are all plant-based and made with natural ingredients.
Our wraps are freshly hand-rolled every day to ensure maximum freshness as they are delivered to retailers.
All the proteins are pre-cooked which is why our sandwiches can be enjoyed heated or cold.
Our product line includes sandwiches, sauces, marinated vegetable proteins and desserts.
How it all started
As we had started to change our eating habits, we wanted to try to reproduce all our favorite foods in a vegan version.This is the reason why our story began with a very small restaurant in Laval called 57Cals. In 2014, we were the only vegan restaurant in Laval. At that time, our menu included different types of sandwiches and falafel plates. Since the base of all our items was the falafel and each of our falafel balls counted 57 calories, we thought it would be fun to name our restaurant 57Cals.
Over time, we wanted to make simple, plant-based options available and more accessible to a bigger audience. This is why, three years after the beginning of our adventure, we decided to close our restaurant and partnered with grocery and health food stores in the Greater Montreal who resell our products.
