How is It Made?

The textured vegetable protein we use is made from a simple yet effective blend of faba protein concentrate, pea protein concentrate, and salt. The production process involves:

  1. Protein Extraction – Proteins are extracted from faba beans and peas to create high-quality concentrates.
  2. Texturization – Using heat and pressure, these protein concentrates are transformed into a fibrous, meat-like texture.
  3. Drying and Processing – The final product is dried and shaped into various forms that can be rehydrated and cooked just like traditional meat.

Why We Chose a Soy-Free and Organic TVP

Many plant-based proteins on the market are soy-based. We wanted an option that caters to those with sensitivities or those who don't want to consume soy. We do have soy in our kitchen, therefore we can not fully cater to soy allergies, but our marinated proteins offer a soy-free option to replace animal proteins. Additionally, by choosing an organic TVP, we prioritize clean ingredients free from synthetic pesticides and GMOs, aligning with our commitment to sustainability and health.
